@james.rufer does any GNOME extensions appear? (this would be the answer to only packages from approved PureOS.net and it would be counter to what Matthias mentioned in the chat history @ 12:05)... So I want to confirm that...

After the update errors (therefore, ignoring the error), resolved my issue.

In the error above, I am trying to simply do:

sudo apt update

But get the error. So need to know the work-around to get it updated.

I don't have this issue; I have had a user-related issue when I leave the search box filled in with something, and forgot I was showing search results within a folder, and wonder where the unread are. But this was user error.
