To get chromium working, I had to add the following line to /etc/paxctld.conf

/usr/lib/chromium/chromium                              m

Once I did that chromium would work properly.

Additionally, if we do include iridium (I believe it is free software), then the we would also need to include the following line to /etc/paxctld.conf

/usr/lib/iridium-browser/iridium-browser                m
