Second disk encryption passphrase required for secondary encrypted drive/folder
Open, NormalPublic

Description

mounting a second encrypted drive I encounter two popups, one seems to be to allow mounting, the second to decrypt?

this _may_ be acceptable (two different authentications required), but filing the ticket in the off chance that there is only supposed to be one.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. create an encrypted drive
  2. mount it
  3. see pop-up one
  4. see pop-up two

Additionally I see an error pop-up AFTER mounting and decrypting...

NOTE: The drive does indeed mount, it does indeed decrypt, and it does mount to the expected location, even after all of these prompts and warnings.

This looks like expected behavior to me: The first prompt is for the disk password, while the second one is for root permission to be actually able to mount the device.
However, there might still be an issue here, because apparently the disk is mounted twice, and also a local user should be able to mount disks directly without root permission, so the second authentication request might not be needed (it could be though that the system policy on what the user can do is different for encrypted disks compared to regular volumes).
