Thanks a lot Joao.

This shows that you have the Flathub third party repository added to your system:
Hi Joao.
Do you have any flatpak applications installed? First time you install a Flatpak application from Flathub, it asks you if you want to add Flathub repository to your software sources.
Seems the emails sent to the developers bounced back. Checking it with our sysadmins and looking for alternative ways to contact them

Those fields are just inherited from the upstream because we bring in the package as a binary.
With regard to this policy change: https://puri.sm/posts/an-epiphany-regarding-purebrowser/ can we revisit this (and other Purebrowser issues) in PureOS so that we can determine the best course of action for deprecating Purebrowser.
Just a headsup that this should be fixed.
As we're working on the search page right now, perhaps this is a good time to close this bug?
Yes, this needs review and triage.

The only thing I can say at the moment that we will have this done for the next release of PureOS. I know this is kind of vague, but at the moment I can't make a more definitive statement about it, sorry.
Most likely this feature will come with a complete overhaul of the process we use to build images for PureOS.

I also experience the issue described by @soapergem. The boot process sometimes hangs when running the start job for the encrypted swap partition.

Is there an estimated time for this please?

Also had the exact same issue as in the picture above in gnome boxes. Live image failed to shutdown properly and upon reboot Live iso would load again instead of the installed OS.
Network won't auto reconnect when VPN set to auto connect.
just to avoid duplication, i've uploaded these to green and amber a while ago: https://software.pureos.net/search_pkg?term=mfgtools - green is no more though. ci builds are here: https://arm01.puri.sm/job/debs/job/deb-mfgtools-buster-amd64/
I've been using an opensnitch deb in regular, daily usage for a while now. It is functional, not so buggy in terms of interface and functionality. It does leak memory and can take up a significant chunk of my 16 available gigs of RAM, more than 80%, which slows my machine down to a crawl. That said, we might be able to work with the developer. Having this in PureOS is a powerful security story.
Thank you Adrian - where are the packages, on 'slat'? Or are we building this in the CI?
Working on this
this is complete, also package it for both amber and byzantium
I'm not sure if this is complete, but I'm confident Adrian and I can finish this task off if it is not.

Upstream bugreport: https://bugs.debian.org/908947
on https://repo.pureos.net/pureos-debug/dists/ there's dbgsym packages for amber, amber-phone-staging and amber-proposed-upates so if the versions in amber-phone / amber-updates are the same we can work around things by using these.

before one thinks about repurposing intel ME, maybe try to repurpose its (near) equivalent on AMD first. A Czech guy gave a talk on this, he found a way into it.

Removing libmutter may not be an option;

Actually, I managed to upgrade the OS by upgrading the packages one by one. None of them triggered that error.
I do not have a solution to installing libmutter, but I was able to upgrade everything else after removing mutter as a package.

Thank you for the explanation. Anyways, I recognize again I confused the default behavior of suggested packages with recommended packages.
There are many, many, MANY ways you can break your system, by changing how its configuration to behave differently from what it did when initially installed.
Nov 29 2019
It started of whatever I thought it was an issue and finished as a question or request about the possibility to let people choose if "install recommends" should be enabled or disabled by default.
Thanks Wayne. Closing this one.
