@jonas.smedegaard is a package like the above: that is not a standalone project but an artifact generated in the build process of coreboot something that would normally be ok to package as a debian package.
Or is there any debian guideline against packaging something like this?

@mak also would it make sense to paste the link to download the image in question here, in case anyone is willing to test and provide feedback?
I have tested PureOS 10 on a device with UEFI and it booted. A Librem Mini v1 that was not yet flashed with Pureboot/coreboot+seabios.
I can ask around in some chats if anyone with libreboot is willing to try it, because that would be very cool.

Basically my fear is that people will end up having chromium installed in their systems 📦
@mak pinging you here because the changelog of these packages indicates you were the last person to update them. But feel free to assign to someone else 😄

Considering that we phased out Purebrowser in Favor of Epiphany and Firefox-ESR and that the bug was closed in Debian.

they're already on it!
ok, so we should contact the Litrokey app devs? To see if they merge that request?
May 21 2020
Yes, it has. The PoC is basically replacing the nitrokey pro device and vendor ID with the Librem Key device and vendor ID
No, that repo is a poc.

This does not break an install, that is correct.

May 13 2020
This issue is caused because g-i-s follows RHEL/Fedora useradd rules which are different from debian. Fedora/RHEL allows usernames with upper case letters.
And g-i-s provides no error message when a PureOS user tries to create a username that does not comply with the useradd rules followed in PureOS.
May 12 2020
The OEM installer converts a user Full Name into a Username in lower case letters, but it is possible for a user to manually edit the username and add a upper case latter again. Like in the picture bellow.
