In previous PureOS releases we defaulted to Tilix, that project has no had a new release in 18 months.

In PureOS for the Librem 5 we default to gnome console since it is adaptable to the screen size.

Could we consider switching to gnome console as the default for a terminal application it would have some consistency with the L5 image.

Debian for Bookworm did not do that switch and defaults to gnome-terminal.

This is a minor issue and should not block a release in my opinion.
