smtube isn't removed in Trisquel (http://packages.trisquel.info/belenos/smtube), and yes, it's free. But for PureOS as a privacy/security focused OS it would be better to drop this (IMHO, see again: http://tonvid.com/privacy-policy.php). Besides, smplayer already can play YouTube videos by default (by using mpv as a backend).

This is a think that just would cripple and not benefit anyone. smtube is free software. The service it is using is probably nonfree but than again would browser be considered nonfree because we can access YouTube with it? @mladen.pejakovic just point again to FSF list if this is considered by them nonfree as I think this would actually require a debate as software in usage here is free software
You are right, it's free. Explanation:
Yes, it's just acetoneiso, but FSF will definitely consider this as a nonfree:

Is GeoGebra free and open source software?
GeoGebra is open source software and available free of charge for non-commercial users.
...
Please note that GeoGebra as a complete software program would probably not be considered "free" software according to the definition of that term which is used by the Free Software Foundation.
bumblebee is free software (bumblebee-nvidia is not but we don't have and I patched bumblebee to not have it). primus is also free software unless proven otherwise.
@mladen.pejakovic Can you point to which one? Package in its build and depends per se doesn't have any nonfree dependency afaics, but it does have in plugin repo (once installed and you run the app and go to preferences) gmail and twitter plugis but afaik they are still free plugins (albeit to nonfree services but than that would render nonfree everything that can connect to internet and any nonfree service, website etc - first on attack would be browsers here). Also FSF reference to ti would be nice if there is one.
@mladen.pejakovic can you give me some FSF text that points to this issue because:
@mladen.pejakovic why is this package tagged as nonfree? It is in Debian main so it is in PureOS main as well and it only depends on libc6.
@mak how do you feel about this one. I don't feel easy to take and patch but maybe some users want chromium thus we would need to package iridium which again is not something I feel happy about it. I think dropping it will not create big issue in archive as chromium is pretty much self-contained but again, I am wondering how users would feel about it (or should we take it as granted that purebrowser is awesome and there is still epiphany, midori etc)?
Patched, should be fixed and sync'ed in PureOS in next 12 hours.
Hm, I don't see acetoniso2 in archive and acetoniso didn't ask me anything nor do I see it depends on poweriso and unrar-nonfree (the nonfree things aren't even part of the archive). Can you recheck @mladen.pejakovic ?
@mladen.pejakovic I grep'ed the file and no license shows there, can you check where I could see license for it or maybe Debian patched this already?
@hema.prathaban no need to open multiple bugs for the same issue so either close this one or close https://tracker.pureos.net/T52 (but add my comment for the fix).
@jeff @mladen.pejakovic did my above suggest help/resolve this issue? If yes, feel free to close the bug.
@mak what do you think about adding qtox lines to our sources.list until we have the time to package it into Debian (and that way it syncs into PureOS)?
@mak remove our patched kernel and push in debian vanilla one, we will later add a package that will just pull in byd module. This way we get Debian quality and remove a bit of workload from us.
Should be solved (re-open if bug persists in the latest snapshot).
Done. Thanks Hema.

My current librem 13 v2 prototype has a fried touchpad, once I receive the final hardware, I'll be able to test and provide proper logs. For now, all I can say is that MrChromeBox who tested it on his prototype said that mouse scrolling/multitouch doesn't work in PureOS but works in GalliumOS. Also, when he tried to remove psmouse module then re-insert it with proto=imps, he said that it broke scrolling in GalliumOS.
The logs I have from before the mouse was fried had this in dmesg :
@kakaroto , can you share any logs on this if you have.

Nah, it's on the FSF's list of non free software, let's just drop it.
@hema.prathaban hold on with this package, I don't think it's nonfree, it seems that upstream removed the problematic file.

this is similar to T24 which is resolved and can be verified in the latest snapshot images.
can be verified in the latest snapshot.
purebrowser chosen as default webapp, can be checked in the latest snapshot images.
Mak, Zlatan, what are the steps to drop this package, do we have to remove dependent packages as well.
