Kernel 4.9.6-3pureos1 does not load byd by default

Linux ariadne 4.9.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.6-3pureos1 (2017-03-03) x86_64 GNU/Linux
A user reported that he can't deactivate tap-to-touch on his touchpad. Eventually we've come to the point that the byd driver is not loaded. dmesg and libinput logs attached.

NOTE: he is using PureOS inside a VM.

@mak remove our patched kernel and push in debian vanilla one, we will later add a package that will just pull in byd module. This way we get Debian quality and remove a bit of workload from us.

This is no longer reproducible on latest kernels, should we close it?

Yes, but we still don't enable byd, so we need to have package that enables it and then we can close this altogether.
