doublecmd-common: suggests nonfree package libunrar0 (and mentions this in several package descriptions)
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Package doublecmd-common suggests nonfree package libunrar, and mentions this in several long descriptions.

Parabola patch removes "Support for RAR archives can be enabled by installing the libunrar0 package from non-free." from the description.

Possibly libunrar0 is nonfree in some other universe (or in ancient times?), but it is non-existent in PureOS as well as (contemporary at least) Debian.

jonas.smedegaard reopened this task as "Open".

doublecmd does not suggest a non-free package, only a non-existent one.

Package descriptions also include only bogus hints (PureOS has no suite called "non-free").

@mak Please drop our fork of doublecmd and let in the Debian package which complies fine with GNU FSDG.

When addressed, this issue should be flaged as "invalid" (not "resolved").
