Yes, the image I used is this one: pureos-8.0-gnome-oem_20180408-amd64.hybrid.iso. I even validated the sha256sum for the file, to make sure that it was downloaded correctly.

I tried to use the latest ISO, and now I get the error that no kernel modules can be found when I try to run "Start installer", and the error that "/vmlinuz is missing", when I try the "Live ISO" option.

Thanks for the update; I'll get this done as soon as I can, and report on what I find.

In GNOME Tweaks, change "Mouse Click Emulation" back to "Area".

I have run PureOS on a Libreboot X200, and not run into this problem. From the Libreboot GRUB menu, try selecting the "Select GRUB2 configuration from external disk" option instead of, "Boot from USB," and then choose the install option from there; that has always worked for me.

Also, check the link on the Purebrowser Start Page; it links to the same Firefox add-ons site.

I changed the Antialiasing in Gnome Tweak > Fonts to Standard, it it looked the way it's supposed to.

It's actually easy to identify which apps were installed, because I tested this issue with a default installation of all operating systems mentioned, the only extra package being installed was the Atom package itself (along with its dependencies).
I have not found any other application with this same issue in PureOS, which is why I created a bug report for the Atom text editor specifically. I thought it appropriate to put the bug here, because it only happens in PureOS (not in Debian Stretch, Debian Testing, Linux Mint, or Trisquel 7/8), so I think it must be specific to something unique to PureOS.

@d3vid, my connection is stable. I have no problems when not connected to the VPN; the connection never just suddenly drops, like it does when I am using it. Also, my packages are all up-to-date, and the problem still persists into this morning.

I am currently using Debian 9.1 (Stretch) on a Libreboot x200, and while I still have problems with the Mullvad appliation, the connection is stable when I use OpenVPN: only disconnecting every once in a while. Presently, It's been going continuously since this morning (9am), without any issues.

I've updated Purebrowser to the latest version (and restarted both Purebrowser and my computer), and I still cannot access sites like youtube.com, without setting security.ssl.enable_alpn to "False".

I updated my system today, and Thunderbird now works normally.
