The latest version of Thunderbird doesn't respond properly; most of the window consists of large, gray sections that only sometimes go away when I hover the mouse over them. It's hard to see emails, let alone click on them to see their contents. I don't know if this is something that must be fixed upstream, but it makes the application very difficult to use.
