Download and verify PureOS}
Download and verify the integrity of the PureOS hybrid live/install ISO image
---
You can download the latest hybrid install/live PureOS ISO image from https://pureos.net/download/.
When download finishes, make sure to check that the sha256 checksum hash (bellow the !!Download!! button) match to the one calculated for your downloaded ISO. This is to ensure the download went fine and the file is not corrupted. You can calculate the checksum using `sha256sum` utility (run this in your terminal):
{icon terminal}`sha256sum /the/path/to/downloaded/pureos.iso`
Or you can use a simple graphical utility called **GtkHash** (install from //Software center//):
{F27807, size=full, alt=GtkHash}
