== Problem ==
System successfully booted, but GNOME Display Manager (gdm—login screen) did not start, textual login prompt is displayed:
{F53541, size=full, alt=tty1}
== Solution ==
In some cases it might help to reconfigure the GNOME login manager. Login with your username/password at the prompt:
{F53543, size=full, alt=tty2}
and run the following command:
{icon terminal}`sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm3`
Restart to see if it helped.
