Telegram desktop application is blocked from syncronization with our repositories, the reason presented for this in https://master.pureos.net/synchrotron/blacklist is: "Connects to a proprietary service".
I am unsure if this is sufficient reason to block it, as we provide several Open Source applications that connect with "proprietary services", for example email clients that can connect with gmail and outlook, GOA that also supports connecting to: google, Microsoft, Microsoft Exchange, Facebook.
My question is what is the difference with Telegram Desktop client?
Is it the fact that in spite the client is Open Source, it only connects with one service that is proprietary? Unlike the other examples.
What is the distinction here?
