Closed, WontfixPublic

@Squid Thanks for the added details.

What makes you mention "Breeze" in the subject? Do you happen to recognize the icons you see in that 2nd screenshot as being part of that icon theme, or...?

"Breeze" is the name of the default icon theme in Plasma. In the 1st screenshot we have PureBrowser and in the 2nd we have FF ESR from a different distribution featuring Plasma. @mak knows what I'm talking about (he used to have a distro called "Tanglu" that also had a Plasma flavor). Call me nitpicky but details matter.

Notes:

  1. Obviously the 2nd screenshot isn't from Tanglu
  2. Most (if not all) Plasma builds have those icons implemented in FF

Thanks for elaborating.

I have rephrased subject accordingly, and had it describe the isse rather than what should be done about it.

@mak Considering that Purebrowser has been phased out in favor of Epiphany/Firefox-ESR can this ticket be closed?

Purism has abandoned the development of PureBrowser for some time now.

PureOS now recommends using GNOME Web (a.k.a. Epiphany), and also provides Firefox ESR.
