Description

Hi,

When the screen is locked, lid staying open, my Librem 15 may intempestively switch to suspend state. This is really annoying because I sometimes need to access it remotely and it's not possible when it is suspended.
Here's a relevant excerpt from journalctl:

This problem seems to occur especially when the system in on heavy load. I can easily reproduce it when building the Debian package hdf5.

Pini renamed this task from systemd: Intenpestive Lid closed / Lid opened events to systemd: Intempestive Lid closed / Lid opened events.Oct 22 2018, 11:02

For the record I recently triggered this bug again, while building a rust app.

jonas.smedegaard changed the task status from Open to Incomplete.May 29 2021, 02:27

@joao.azevedo Could you or one of your peers please have a look at this one? Smells to me like a hardware issue (hardware triggering some bogus events) rather than a software issue (systemd or kernel bogusly creating events out of thin air).
