t'bird fails to prompt for smtp password

T'bird: v 91.6.0 (64-bit)
Since recent update to t'bird I have been pompted to update imap oauth pword. However, sending fails with no prompt for new pword (or any other useful information - assuming it is a password failure):

I do not represent Purism, but I look here occasionally for issues I may have. I see this issue is quite old now.

It is not clear from your post, but have you tried deleting the old SMTP password to get the prompt, and then re-entering it? Edit->Settings->Privacy & Security->Passwords->Saved Passwords. Select and Remove.

I get my Thunderbird version directly from Mozilla, but I remember having to do this myself a while back. (I am running v. 102 now.) I am not sure why, but doing this made my problem go away.

This doesn't seem to be causing an issue now. It can be closed, resolved.
