Sound does not work on main sound card
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Some weeks ago my external speakers and microphone worked without problem then, i received a PureOS upgrade and speaker and microphone did not work after reboot even they were not detected by pulseaudio. Now, i can only listen to music throught my graphic card thanks to hdmi support that is detected by pulseaudio. Speakers and microphone works on others computers without problems.

Maybe it is a driver or firmware problem but I have not idea what is the driver or firmware (in the case) because I am not sure what is my original sound card because i had not problems time before but i have made "lshw" and i found this:

I was sawing apps installed some time ago after the upgrade and i saw that timidity (one of them) was running a daemon that i thought it could block the sound input and output, i uninstalled it and after reboot, externals speakers and microphone were detected.
