While re-installing PureOS over a pre-existing PureOS installation on a Librem 15v3, I got to the partition configuration step. The installer suggested that my SSD is using a Master Boot Record (MBR) and goes on to describe how it's an old MS-DOS standard, and on "modern systems" GPT is preferred.

Is GPT preferred for Librem machines? Could this be a holdover from a bad decision I made on my previous installation attempt?
