Please add libgoffice-0.8-dev to PureOS repos

Description

I'm trying to install GNUcash on PureOS. It requires libgoffice-0.8-dev. This package doesn't seem to exist in PureOS repositories:

tom@tom-librem:~/pkg/gnucash-2.6.19$ sudo apt install libgoffice-0.8-dev

E: Unable to locate package libgoffice-0.8-dev
E: Couldn't find any package by glob 'libgoffice-0.8-dev'
E: Couldn't find any package by regex 'libgoffice-0.8-dev'

ligboffice-0.10-dev does exist but doesn't enable cmake of gnucash.

Which version of Gnucash are you trying to build? libgoffice-0.8 is removed from Debian testing (which PureOS is based on), but there is a newer version of Gnucash (2.7.3) in the Debian Experimental repositories, which require libgoffice-0.10.

Regarding the removal of libgoffice-0.8, see

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=881532

(The bug is severity: serious, so it is keeping libgoffice-0.8 out of Debian testing).

Gnucash is not in PureOS either, because it has release critical issues in Debian which PureOS is derived from. Details at https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/gnucash

Specifically, Gnucash uses an old insecure web rendering engine. When that issue is solved in Debian, Gnucash should re-enter PureOS automatically.

Closing this as (in itself) a non-issue for PureOS.
