Wayland session not default anymore after reboot

Description

After rebooting from a "GNOME" (Wayland) session , GDM is not remembering the previous choice and sets it to "System X11 Default", which is the first one in the list.
This does not happen when choosing another session like "GNOME Classic", "GNOME on Xorg" or "Kodi".

Is this still an issue? I have never experienced this behavior on current PureOS.
